Ionia Maternity | Lopez

Shannon was just about to have her third child when she decided she wanted to do a couple maternity photos. With her being an amazing client of mine and absolutely gorgeous, I jumped on the opportunity because I knew she would let us try out a couple new things. She wasn’t afraid to get in the water and she let us toss some awesome looking powder behind her all while wearing a couple beautiful maternity gowns. I am so in love with these images, and this girl is stunning! Having only a week left in her pregnancy at this point, she rocked her session!

We were able to go to a couple locations around the area of Ionia, including the State Park, and ended up in my parents pool so I could test out my new underwater housing for my Sony A6000. The wheat field and clematis were a perk as well.

I was able to go meet the new little babe last Friday and let me tell you, he’s just as beautiful as his mamma. You’ll get to see those images soon ❤

Grand Rapids Generation Photography

You guys!!!! I can’t even, they are just too cute! Oma and Opa are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and asked me to come and take some family pictures for them. Of course, I was happy to, look how fantastic they are! Not to mention, I am photographing their grandson’s wedding in September and love to get to know more of my couple’s family.

The family had gathered together to celebrate and I met up with them after dinner. We had our fingers crossed the storms would hold out and we were lucky enough to finish their session just before the gray skies rolled.

It was such a nice session, the cloud cover gave us amazing lighting and the yard was beautiful. My favorite part was definitely Baxter though 🙂 Baxter is the stuffed pup that tagged along for the shoot. Miss Avery was adorable proudly showing him off. She even set up props and was happily assisting me in getting Baxter to smile. Take a look for yourself!

It was a great honor to be able to showcase such an amazing love and I had such a nice time getting to know everyone. I can’t wait to see everyone again in September (especially Baxter).

Grandville Community Photography

We hope that everyone had a fantastic Independence day! We spent our day in Grandville doing a photo booth to benefit the Grandville Community Tree Project. The tree project is dedicated to developing and implementing a community tree and urban forestry plan in the city of Grandville.

We sold prints on site and proceeds were donated to the Project to purchase new trees for the community. This is such a great fundraising activity. Everyone leaves happy and loves having a print to take home with them!

The day was HOT, really really HOT, but we had a great time and appreciate everyone that stopped by to donate.

You can learn more about the Tree Project by checking out their facebook page here.

Ionia Family Photography

The Watson’s had their first born baby last December and he is officially six months old! Mom booked his session with us and we decided to do it at a barn to fit their tastes. What a happy baby he is! He couldn’t stop smiling, up until his last outfit and we wanted to get a few of him alone that is, but for the most part he was such a happy baby and loved getting snuggles from mom and dad.

We love photographing our clients in areas that they love and that are going to look great with their home decor. These three were having a blast at the barn, it fit their personalities perfectly! I hope you love their images as much as I do!

Grand Rapids Senior Photography

Toby | GHS | Class of 2019

Everyone meet Toby! Toby is our Grandville High School senior model for the class of 2019. We are super excited to be photographing his full session up in Traverse City after having such an awesome mini session with him. I have known Toby’s family for over 15 years (man, do I feel old!) and cannot believe he is going to be entering his senior year.

We met up downtown Grand Rapids and quickly caught up and shared stories.  It took a little convincing to get Toby to agree to our model program, but he clearly is going to knock it out of the park! Now he can share wallets with friends that will give them a discount on their senior sessions.

I love that we incorporated the city during Toby’s session. Working downtown is one of my favorite locations to use. There are just so many different settings in one area. Dark alleys, busy streets, amazing architecture all blended into one session giving so many different looks.

We look forward to sharing more of his story with you later on this summer!

Make sure to send us an email at brickstreetstudio217@gmail.com for more information. Mention Toby’s name for an additional discount.
